Summary: Symbol or Recipe Flags are small, colorful circles featuring letters or icons that highlight specific details about a recipe and appear beneath recipes in the customer-facing order flow.
Navigation Instructions:
1. After logging into KMS, you can access your recipes using one of the following methods:
a. Scroll down on your dashboard to the Kitchen section and click "Recipes" as seen in the first picture below.
b. On the left-hand navigation bar, click Kitchen and then click "Recipes" from the drop-down list as seen in the second picture below.
How-to Guide:
1. Once you have located your recipe in the recipe list on the Mange Recipes page, click on the eyeball icon on the right-hand side of the recipe to view the recipe details.
2. On the Recipe Details page, click on the green button labeled "Edit Recipe" in the top right-hand corner of the page.
3. Scroll down to the section titled Recipe Flags and click the green button labeled "Add".
4. Once you click "Add", two fields will appear titled Flag Name and Flag Value.
a. Flag Name refers to the title of the symbol or recipe flag that pertains to the category of the flag.
i. For example, you may want to inform your customers that a recipe includes meat so the Flag Name could be protein.
b. Flag Value refers to a more specific breakdown of the Flag Name (see above) category.
i. For example, if the Flag Name is protein, the Flag Value could be bacon as it is stating the specific protein that is included in the recipe.
Note: The symbol flag must already exist within the system. For directions on how to create a symbol or recipe flag, please reference the documentation titled "How to Create Recipe/Symbol Flags in KMS".
5. Click on the textbox titled Flag Name and choose from the drop-down list.
6. Click on the textbox labeled Flag Value and choose the value that corresponds with the Flag Name.
7. Once you have chosen your Flag Name and Flag Value, complete one of the following:
a. If you are done adding flags, click the green button labeled "Save & Finish" in the top right-hand corner of the page shown n the first picture below.
b. To add more flags, repeat steps 3-6.
c. To delete a flag, click on the red "X" on the right-hand side of the flag shown in the second picture below.
