1. After logging into KMS, click on Setup/Settings on the left-hand navigation bar and select "Manage Recipe Types" from the drop-down list. 


           


2. In the Manage Recipe Types page, a total of six text boxes will display under the section titled Add Recipe TypeRecipe Type NameShort NameRecipe Type SequenceUpchargeDescription, and Default Recipe Image. 

        1. Recipe Type Name refers to the title of the recipe type that describes a specific dietary lifestyle. 

  1.     a. NoteThis is required. 

    1. i. For example, a Recipe Type Name could be Gluten-Free. 

  2. 2. Short Name refers to the Recipe Type Name in short-form. 

  3.     a. NoteThis is required and must be different for each saved recipe type. The system will not allow a Short Name to be duplicated.  

    1. i. For example, if the Recipe Type Name is Gluten-Free, the Short Name could be GF. 

  4. 3. Recipe Type Sequence refers to the order in which the recipe type will appear on a recipe within the customer-facing order flow should there be multiple recipe types assigned to a recipe. 

  5.     a. NoteThis is required. 

    1. i. For example, if a recipe is both Gluten-Free and Vegetarian, and you want the recipe type Gluten-Free recipe type to appear first on the recipe within the customer-facing order flow, you can assign Gluten-Free a Recipe Type Sequence value of 1 and Vegetarian a value of 2.  

  6. 4. Upcharge refers to the cost associated with the recipe type. 

  7.   a. Note: This is optional. 

    1. i. For example, if you want any recipe that is Gluten-Free to have an additional cost of $1.50, the Upcharge value for the recipe type Gluten-Free would be 1.50. 

  8. 5. Description refers to the explanation of the recipe type. 

  9.      a. Note: This is optional. 

    1. i. For example, if the Recipe Type Name is Gluten-Free, the Description could be "This recipe is Gluten-Free and is made without wheat, barley, or rye." 

  10. 6. Default Recipe Image refers to a symbol that indicates the recipe type. 

  11.      a. Note: This is optional. 

    1. i. For example, if the recipe type is Gluten-Free, the Default Recipe Image could be a symbol of wheat in a circle with a slash to indicate the recipe is free of wheat, barley, or rye. 


3. Once you have entered all of your information, click the green button labeled "Save" in the right-hand corner of the Add Recipe Type section. 

 

       


4. If you need to edit or delete the ingredient, follow one of the steps below: 

  1. a. To edit the ingredient option, click on the pencil icon below the section titled Action. 

  2. b. To delete the ingredient option, click on the trash can icon below the section titled Action.
